Dealing with Discomfort While Wearing IontoPatch

The IontoPatch™ uses a very low level of electric current to deliver medication through the skin. When the device is applied and working correctly, you should typically feel no sensation or pain.
On occasion, however, some patients report a sensation described as a "tugging" or "slight tingly" feeling during the drug delivery process.
What to Do If You Feel Pain?
If you feel any unusual discomfort or pain while wearing the patch, follow these steps:

Remove the patch using soapy water.

Clean the area well.

Notify your healthcare provider accordingly.
