PHASE 1: PREPARATION & MEDICATION
| STEP 1: PREP THE SITE | STEP 2: FILL THE ELECTRODES |
| A. Inspect: Choose a hair-free area over the treatment site. Trim hair if necessary. | A. Medication: Fill one electrode with the prescribed medication, observing the 3 mm border. |
| B. Clean: Wash the entire area thoroughly with soap and water. | B. Polarity Check: The medication electrode must be placed over the treatment site. |
| C. Dry: Ensure the skin is completely dry before proceeding. | C. Saline: Fill the other electrode with the provided saline solution. Discard any remaining saline solution. |

PHASE 2: APPLICATION & SECUREMENT
| STEP 3: POSITION & PLACE | STEP 4: SECURE & FINISH |
| A. Position: Place the joint or limb in a comfortable position, midway through its full range of motion. | A. Seal: Firmly run your finger around the perimeter and the outer edge of the patch to ensure full adhesion. |
| B. Peel: Remove the adhesive backing from the patch. | B. Activation: The patch is now active and will deliver medication over the next few hours. |
| C. Place: Apply the patch with the medication electrode centered directly over the area to be treated. | C. Avoid: DO NOT PRESS directly on the center of the electrodes during initial application, as this can force liquid onto the adhesive and compromise the patch seal. |
PHASE 3: REMOVAL
| STEP 5: SAFE REMOVAL |
| Method: To minimize skin irritation, remove the IontoPatch slowly while using soap and water in the shower or bath. |
