How much does IontoPatch cost per patch?

Patch supply cost = box price ÷ 6
For example, a six-kit box priced at $36.52 works out to approximately $6.09 per patch, before applicable tax. This is the arithmetic for that box price; check the selected variant for the price at the time you order.
For multiple boxes:
Delivered supply cost per patch = (product total after discounts + shipping + mandatory order fees) ÷ total patches
Keep the full order total for accounting. A rounded per-patch figure is useful for comparison, but multiplying it back may differ by a few cents from the invoice.

All three options have the same number of kits per box, but they are different models. Match the name and SKU before comparing offers.

IontoPatch STAT and IontoPatch 80 both have an 80 mA·min electrical-dose capacity, while Extra Strength has 120 mA·min. Electrical-dose capacity is not a medication quantity in milligrams. A higher capacity or different wear period does not by itself establish a lower total cost for an individual treatment plan.

What is included in the patch price?
IontoPatch has an integrated power source, so a separate iontophoresis controller and lead wires are not required. Its treatment kits include saline for preparation; prescribed medication is supplied separately.

The cost of a patch is therefore different from the cost of a complete iontophoresis visit. Ask whether a provider’s estimate includes the device, medication, and professional services before comparing it with an online box price.
Is buying IontoPatch in bulk cheaper?
A quantity discount can reduce the price per patch, but the saving depends on the actual quote and how much of the order your practice can use.

In this example, the quoted bulk rate saves $30 across ten boxes. Ordering more boxes without a lower price does not create a unit-cost saving.
Because we offer free U.S. shipping without a minimum, a small practice does not need to add unnecessary stock merely to meet a shipping threshold. Larger practices can request quantity pricing based on their actual model mix and expected use.
What should a bulk quote include?
Send the following information when you request IontoPatch quantity pricing from Balego:
- Model names or SKUs and the number of boxes of each.
- Whether this is a one-time purchase or recurring replenishment.
- Delivery location and the date the supplies are needed.
- Any minimum remaining shelf-life requirement your facility has.
Ask the quote to identify box quantities, total patches, discounted merchandise price, shipping, any applicable fees, and the period for which the quote is valid. If ordering several models, confirm whether quantities can be combined for a discount. Do not assume that discount tiers or coupon codes apply across variants or can be stacked.
How much should a clinic keep in stock?
Base replenishment on actual use of each model, supplier lead time, and existing usable inventory.
Reorder point in patches = expected use during replenishment lead time + the clinic’s safety stock.
For example, a clinic using 12 patches of one model per week, planning around a one-week replenishment lead time and retaining six patches as safety stock, would reorder when its usable supply reaches 18 patches. These are inventory assumptions, not a promised delivery time or a treatment recommendation.
Before increasing an order, check expiration dates, storage requirements, and the quantity already on hand. Use the earliest-expiring suitable stock first. Do not treat stock that is expired, damaged, or unavailable for use as part of the reorder calculation.
A discount can disappear if patches go unused.
Suppose a discounted 60-patch order costs $330, but only 54 patches remain usable for the intended work before the rest must be discarded. The effective acquisition cost is $330 ÷ 54 = approximately $6.11 per usable patch. That exceeds the $6.00 rate in the smaller-order example above.
This hypothetical calculation shows why stock turnover matters. Confirm remaining shelf life for the actual shipment rather than treating a general shelf-life statement as a guarantee about a particular lot.
Comparing IontoPatch with another iontophoresis system
Compare complete supply requirements after the clinician has determined which systems are suitable. A box price alone cannot establish the least expensive clinical option.

Does IontoPatch include dexamethasone?
No. Include the separately supplied medication when budgeting the overall treatment expense. The patch price alone is not the price of a prepared medicated treatment.
Is the patch price the same as my insurance copay?
