Continuum Heel/Foot Switch

The Chattanooga/EMPI Continuum Heel/Foot Switch is an optional remote switch accessory designed for use with the Chattanooga Continuum electrotherapy system. Ideal for gait training and functional rehabilitation protocols, the switch plugs into the Continuum’s remote jack to help coordinate stimulation with the patient’s step cycle.

When used with a clinician-programmed custom NMES treatment, the footswitch allows stimulation to respond to heel movement—supporting more controlled, repeatable therapy during walking and lower-extremity rehabilitation exercises. Its hands-free design gives patients convenient heel-activated control while helping clinicians deliver therapy with greater timing precision.
