Chattanooga TX™ Traction Unit & Accessories | 4759, 7040 & 2825

Build or expand a professional Chattanooga clinical traction system with individually available TX™ traction components and accessories. Choose the 4759 TX Traction Unit, 7040 Saunders® Clinical Cervical Traction Accessory, or 2825 QuikWrap™ Belt System according to the equipment already in your clinic and the component you need to add or replace.

Each option on this page is sold separately. This is not the complete TX Traction Package. Clinics starting with a new system can instead purchase our Chattanooga TX Traction Unit Package 8200–8206, which combines the traction unit, QuikWrap belts, clinical cervical traction system, and a stool or knee-bolster configuration.

4759 Chattanooga TX™ Traction Unit

The Chattanooga TX Traction Unit 4759 is the powered control unit at the center of the TX clinical traction system. It provides static, intermittent, and cyclic traction with adjustable treatment parameters and traction force from 0 to 200 lb.

A pivoting monochrome touchscreen gives the clinician access to treatment settings from different positions around the treatment area. The TX also stores up to 10 user-defined protocols, while Patient Data Cards can retain treatment parameters and information from multiple treatment sessions.

Compatible Traction Tables

The 4759 is intended for compatible Chattanooga traction installations and is specifically offered for use with the Galaxy platform. Clinics building a Galaxy system can compare:

Chattanooga Galaxy TTET300 3-Section Traction Table

Chattanooga Galaxy TTET400 4-Section Traction Table

The treatment table, cervical traction accessory, QuikWrap belts, stool, and bolsters are not included with the standalone 4759 unless a package explicitly states otherwise.

7040 Saunders® Clinical Cervical Traction Accessory

The Saunders Clinical Cervical Traction Accessory 7040 adds a cervical patient interface to compatible Chattanooga-powered traction equipment. Unlike the self-contained Saunders home traction device, model 7040 does not generate traction force by itself. It connects to a compatible clinical traction unit and includes the clevis required for attachment.

The clinical design applies the traction interface at the base of the occiput and is sized to accommodate most patients.

This distinction is worth making explicit because searches for “Saunders cervical traction” often mix model 7040 with the home-use 199594 product.

2825 QuikWrap™ Belt System

The Chattanooga QuikWrap Belt System 2825 provides the thoracic and pelvic belting used to secure and position the patient during compatible traction applications.

Its wrap-style design uses hook-and-loop closures rather than traditional buckle-heavy belt arrangements. The system is designed to distribute anterior/posterior pull force across the belt surfaces and provides a universal-style fit.

If a clinic needs 4759 + 7040 + 2825 plus patient-positioning equipment, the complete 8200–8206 package is generally the cleaner product configuration rather than adding each component to the cart separately.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this page selling a complete Chattanooga TX Traction Package?

No. The 4759, 7040, and 2825 selections are separate components. To purchase the TX unit, QuikWrap belts, Saunders clinical cervical traction accessory, and stool or bolster configuration together, choose our Chattanooga TX Traction Package 8200–8206.

Does the 4759 TX Traction Unit include the QuikWrap belts?

No. Model 4759 is the powered TX Traction Unit. The QuikWrap Belt System is model 2825 and is available separately or as part of a complete package.

Does the 4759 include the Saunders cervical traction attachment?

No. The clinical Saunders cervical interface is model 7040 and is a separate accessory unless purchased within a package that explicitly lists it.

Does model 7040 work by itself?

No. The 7040 is a clinical accessory that must attach to compatible traction equipment to provide the traction force. It should not be confused with the self-contained Saunders Cervical Home Traction Device.

What comes with the 2825 QuikWrap Belt System?

The system includes a thoracic belt, pelvic belt, and pelvic belt extender.

What is the maximum traction force of the TX 4759?

The manufacturer specifies an adjustable range of 0–200 lb, in 1 lb increments.

Can the TX 4759 save treatment settings?

Yes. It provides 10 user-defined protocol slots, and Patient Data Cards can retain treatment/session information.

Should I buy the components separately or purchase an 8200-series package?

Buy the individual component when replacing or adding a specific part to an existing system. If starting a new Galaxy clinical traction setup and you need the traction unit, belts, cervical attachment, and patient-positioning accessory, the 8200–8206 complete package is the more appropriate configuration.
