Chattanooga TX™ Traction Unit Package for TTET300 & TTET400 – 8200–8206
The Chattanooga TX™ Traction Package combines the TX 4759 powered traction unit with the core accessories required to configure a compatible Chattanooga Galaxy traction table for clinical cervical and lumbar traction. Packages 8200–8205 include the TX Traction Unit, QuikWrap™ Belting System, Clinical Cervical Traction System with clevis, and an adjustable flexion stool in the selected upholstery color. Package 8206 replaces the flexion stool with a two-piece knee bolster set.
Designed for use with compatible clinical traction tables such as the Chattanooga Galaxy TTET300 and Galaxy TTET400, the system provides static, intermittent, and cyclic traction with programmable treatment parameters, a pivoting touchscreen, patient data storage, and traction-force settings from 0 to 200 lb.
Traction table sold separately. For professional clinical use.

Flexion Stool or Knee Bolsters?
The clinical traction hardware is the same regardless of the selected package. The choice is primarily between two approaches to patient positioning.
| Choose | When the configuration calls for… |
|---|---|
| 8200–8205 Flexion Stool Package | An adjustable two-section stool that can position the lower extremities while allowing the stool upholstery to coordinate with other Chattanooga equipment |
| 8206 Knee Bolster Package | Lightweight, independent leg supports without a full flexion stool |
The correct positioning accessory should be selected according to the clinic's established traction protocol, table configuration, and clinician preference.
QuikWrap™ Belting System
The included 2825 QuikWrap Belting System provides a universal-style belting solution for securing the patient during compatible pelvic and lumbar traction applications. Chattanooga specifies the belt system for applications up to 300 lb.
The 300 lb belt rating should not be confused with the TX unit's traction output: the TX 4759 itself is adjustable from 0 to 200 lb of traction force.
Clinical Cervical Traction System Included
Every 8200–8206 package includes Chattanooga's 7040 Clinical Cervical Traction System with clevis, allowing the TX unit to be configured for appropriate clinician-directed cervical traction applications as well as lumbar/pelvic setups.
For setup principles, angle information, and safety considerations specific to Saunders cervical traction, see our Saunders Cervical Traction setup and indications guide.
Compatible Chattanooga Traction Tables
The traction table is not included with this package.
For a three-section traction platform, pair the package with the Chattanooga Galaxy TTET300 Traction Table.
For additional section positioning, compare the Chattanooga Galaxy TTET400 4-Section Traction Table.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does the Chattanooga TX Traction Package include a traction table?
No. Packages 8200–8206 contain the traction unit and specified accessories, but the TTET300 or TTET400 traction table is sold separately.
What is the difference between 8200, 8201, 8202, 8203, 8204, and 8205?
The core traction equipment is the same. These package numbers identify the color of the included flexion stool: beige, blue, grey, graphite grey, black, or imperial blue.
What is different about package 8206?
8206 replaces the flexion stool with the 42901 two-piece knee bolster set. It still includes the TX 4759 unit, QuikWrap Belting System, and Clinical Cervical Traction System with clevis.
What is the maximum traction force of the TX 4759?
The TX Traction Unit provides an adjustable traction range from 0 to 200 lb.
Does the package include cervical traction equipment?
Yes. All seven packages include the 7040 Clinical Cervical Traction System with clevis.
Can treatment settings be saved?
Yes. The TX unit provides 10 user-defined protocol positions and supports Patient Data Cards for storing treatment information.
Does the TX system provide static and intermittent traction?
Yes. The TX 4759 provides static, intermittent, and cyclic traction, along with configurable hold, rest, treatment time, and progressive/regressive settings.
Should I choose the TX or Triton DTS system?
The TX is the more streamlined platform and provides the primary programmable traction functions needed by many clinics. The Triton DTS platform adds substantially more stored protocols, a color interface, variable-speed control, pretension programming, and a more advanced clinical library.
