IMAK RSI Pil-O-Splint Night Wrist Brace - Universal & Adjustable

Resting support for the hand and wrist, with two distinct ways to put it on.

The Brownmed IMAK RSI Pil-O-Splint combines a padded resting surface with two dorsal supports along the back of the hand and wrist. An ergoBeads palm cushion, soft foam, and cotton lining provide cushioning around the supported area. It is designed for nighttime wrist positioning, not as a glove for keyboard work or everyday gripping.

Choose A10312 Universal or A10112 Adjustable. Each package contains one splint, and either model fits the right or left hand. No prescription is required to purchase.

We provide free standard U.S. shipping with no minimum purchase. Select the required model to see its current price and availability. Applicable tax is additional.

A10112 vs. A10312: select the fitting style.

These are fitting styles, not left- and right-hand versions or different therapy strengths. Match the full Brownmed item number when replacing an existing splint. Do not select by another seller's small/large label alone.

Universal does not mean that one model will fit every person. Confirm fit before ordering for a child, an unusually small or large arm, or use over a dressing. Our product-support team can help identify the model and obtain product-fit information. A treating professional should confirm the position and support required.

What is included, and what does the design do?

Your selected Pil-O-Splint includes its two dorsal supports and built-in ergoBeads resting pad. A separate palm cushion is not required to obtain those features. The two supports are components of one brace, not a pair of braces.

The support pieces limit unwanted wrist movement during rest; the bead-filled pad provides a resting surface for the palm. The outside covering is polyflannel, with foam cushioning and a cotton lining. A cotton lining does not mean that the entire brace is 100% cotton.

Choose Pil-O-Splint for a care plan that calls for supported nighttime wrist positioning. It is not a powered therapy device, a medicated patch, or a substitute for a specifically prescribed postoperative or fracture brace.

Compare a night splint with flexible wrist supports.

ProductMain constructionPurchasing distinction

These products are not equivalent merely because they cover the wrist. The sizing method for a compression sleeve or glove should not be used to select Pil-O-Splint. Follow the product-specific instructions and have your clinician approve a change in support type.

Pil-O-Splint purchasing FAQs

Which model should I order to replace my existing Pil-O-Splint?

Check the item number on the package or previous invoice: A10312 is Universal; A10112 is Adjustable. Select that exact option rather than ordering only by the Pil-O-Splint name. For an unclear label, contact us with the model information or a clear package photograph.

Is the price for one brace, a pair, or both fitting styles?

The individual-unit offer is for one splint in the selected style. Quantity 1 does not include both A10112 and A10312. Order two individual splints when your care plan requires simultaneous support for both hands.

Do I need a prescription for A10112 or A10312?

No. Both models are registered for over-the-counter purchase. That does not determine whether either is the right support for an injury, surgical recovery, or unexplained numbness. Follow your healthcare professional's advice when a specific orthosis has been recommended.

Can I use it for carpal tunnel symptoms at night?

Brownmed designs a Pil-O-Splint for nighttime wrist support associated with carpal tunnel symptoms. Keeping the wrist from repeatedly bending during sleep can be part of conservative care. The appropriate splint and wear schedule depend on your assessment; the product does not guarantee symptom relief or replace follow-up for persistent numbness or weakness.

Can I type or use a mouse while wearing it?

Pil-O-Splint is designed for rest and nighttime positioning, not to preserve normal typing and gripping. For desk-use cushioning, compare our IMAK RSI Computer Glove. A flexible daytime support is not automatically a substitute for a night splint.

Is the Pil-O-Splint made with natural rubber latex?

The device records for both models identify them as not made with natural rubber latex. Review your supplied label for other material sensitivities. This statement does not guarantee that every person will tolerate every component.

How should I clean it or change the support configuration?

Follow the care and fitting instructions supplied with the selected model. Confirm the cleaning method and any directions about the support inserts before washing or altering the brace. Do not apply another IMAK product's washing cycle, drying temperature, or splint-removal instructions to Pil-O-Splint.

Before your first night

Check the fit while awake and follow the supplied directions. The support should not cause increasing pain, pressure, numbness, or skin irritation. Remove it and seek advice if those symptoms occur. Persistent numbness, reduced hand function, or increasing thumb weakness warrants clinical assessment rather than simply tightening the brace or extending wear time.

Select the fitting style that matches your needs, verify A10112 or A10312, and order the number of individual splints required.
