IMAK RSI SmartGlove Wrist Support

Flexible wrist support and an ErgoBeads cushion for daytime activities.

The Brownmed IMAK RSI SmartGlove combines a flexible support splint with a bead-filled pad beneath the palm and wrist. Choose it when you want support for wrist positioning as well as cushioning during keyboard, mouse, and other repetitive hand activities. This is the standard SmartGlove, not SmartGlove PM or SmartGlove with Thumb Support.

One glove per package. Reversible for either hand. No prescription required to purchase. Select the correct size and item code before adding it to your cart. Quantity 1 means one glove, not a right-and-left pair.

We provide free standard U.S. shipping with no minimum purchase. Review the selected size's current price and availability beside the buying controls. Applicable tax is additional.

Choose SmartGlove by hand width, not wrist circumference.

Measure straight across the palm at the knuckles. Do not wrap the tape around your hand or wrist. Keep the hand relaxed and measure across the four-finger knuckle area, excluding the thumb.

SmartGlove sizeBrownmed item codePublished hand-width limitApproximate metric equivalent
SmallA20125Up to 3 1/4 inchesUp to 8.3 cm
MediumA20126Up to 3 3/4 inchesUp to 9.5 cm
LargeA20127Up to 4 1/4 inchesUp to 10.8 cm

Brownmed publishes these measurements as upper limits. Use the chart together with the fitting instructions supplied with your glove, rather than treating every larger size as an equally suitable choice. Do not deliberately size down for stronger pressure. At a limit or when fit is uncertain, ask our team for sizing assistance before ordering.

Brownmed also lists X-Small A20111, up to 2 3/4 inches (approximately 7.0 cm). Check the size selector or contact us about availability when the small- and large choices do not meet your needs.

For a repeat purchase, match the complete item code. Do not transfer a size label from the IMAK Arthritis Wrist Sleeve, a night splint, or another manufacturer's glove without remeasuring.

Two support components, one wearable product

The flexible splint helps support the wrist's position. The ErgoBeads pad adds a conforming cushion beneath the hand. Both are included; the bead pad is not a separate accessory you need to buy.

Breathable cotton material provides a soft fabric covering, and the open-finger design leaves the fingertips available for tasks. The glove's support should not be mistaken for a rigid immobilizer or a guarantee that it will hold every wrist at a prescribed angle.

IMAK RSI Computer Glove - A20128Elastic support and an ErgoBeads cushion, without the SmartGlove's support splint; universal fitWearable cushioning when a splint is not the priority

Choose the support function first, then use that product's own size guidance. These are different products, not automatic substitutes for an orthosis selected by your clinician.

SmartGlove purchasing FAQs

Where can I buy the IMAK SmartGlove Small A20125?

Choose A20125 Small in this page's size selector. Check the selected item's price, availability, and quantity before checkout. Medium is A20126 and Large is A20127; these codes identify sizes, not different compression strengths.

Does SmartGlove fit the right or left hand?

Yes. Each size is reversible for either hand. Follow the supplied directions when changing sides so the cushion and support are oriented correctly. Order two individual gloves when you need one on each hand at the same time, and measure both hands separately.

Is SmartGlove adjustable like a strap-style wrist brace?

SmartGlove is sold in separate hand-width sizes. Select the correct size rather than expecting one universal glove to adjust to every hand. Choose by hand width and check that it feels secure without pinching, restricted finger movement, or increased tingling.

Does the standard SmartGlove include thumb stabilization?

Do not confuse it with SmartGlove with Thumb Support, a separate Brownmed design. The A20125/A20126/A20127 codes on this page identify the standard version. A thumb opening is not the same as a dedicated thumb-support structure.

Can I use it while typing or using a mouse?

SmartGlove is positioned for daytime activities. Check that its fit and cushion height work with your keyboard and mouse without forcing the wrist into an awkward angle. Let the hands move freely during active typing rather than pressing the wrist heavily into a support. A wearable cushion does not replace workstation adjustments or breaks.

Does it treat carpal tunnel syndrome or replace a night splint?

Brownmed markets SmartGlove for wrist support associated with carpal tunnel symptoms and other hand discomfort. That does not establish a cure, guaranteed prevention, or equivalence to a prescribed night splint. Persistent numbness, increasing weakness, or loss of hand function should be assessed by a healthcare professional.

Is SmartGlove washable and made without natural rubber latex?

Brownmed describes the product as washable, and the device records identify it as not made with natural rubber latex. Follow the care label supplied with your glove, including any directions about the support insert. Do not borrow another IMAK product's washing or insert-removal instructions. A latex statement does not guarantee tolerance of every material.

Before regular use

Check fit and comfort during a brief period of normal activity. Stop using the glove and seek advice if it increases pain, numbness, or skin irritation. Follow the supplied instructions and your clinician's advice when a specific support has been recommended.

Ready to order? Match your hand-width measurement and Brownmed item code, then select the number of individual SmartGloves required. Browse our wrist and hand supports when a different support function is needed.
