The Brownmed IMAK RSI WrisTimer is designed to discourage wrist bending toward the palm during daytime activities. Its elastic wristband and adjustable finger loop provide an open alternative to a padded glove or rigid wrist splint.

WrisTimer size chart: measure around the wrist.

Use wrist circumference, not hand width across the knuckles. Wrap a flexible measuring tape around the wrist without pulling it tight enough to compress the skin, then compare the measurement below.

Brownmed's published chart overlaps at exactly 6.5 inches. At that boundary, ask our team to confirm fitting guidance rather than automatically choosing a smaller support. The large entry does not specify a maximum circumference; "over 7.5 inches" should not be read as an unlimited fit.

These sizes are specific to WrisTimer. Do not use the knuckle-width chart from SmartGlove or the IMAK Arthritis Wrist Sleeve. Confirm which sizes are currently available in the selector. For use over a dressing or an uncertain fit, obtain guidance before ordering.

Wristband and finger-loop adjustments

The loop is part of the support mechanism, not a lifting handle or exercise attachment. Follow the supplied instructions for its placement and adjustment. A tighter wristband is not a substitute for the correct loop setting or the right size.

This open design leaves much of the hand and fingers uncovered. It is not intended to lock the wrist at a numbered angle. When a clinician has prescribed rigid immobilization or a specific position, confirm the exact brace rather than substituting WrisTimer based on its name.

Where can I buy IMAK WrisTimer 60000, 60010, or 60020?

Select 60000 Small, 60010 Medium, or 60020 Large on this page, according to the available options. For reorders, match the complete model on the previous package or invoice. Do not confuse these daytime codes with 60500 WrisTimer PM.

Is WrisTimer sold as a pair, and does it fit either hand?

One individual support fits the right or left hand when positioned according to the supplied instructions. Quantity 1 is not a pair. Order two individual supports when you need one for each wrist, and measure each wrist separately.

Do I need a prescription?

No. The daytime WrisTimer models are registered for over-the-counter purchase. That does not establish that the product meets a particular postoperative requirement or explain the cause of wrist pain. Follow your treating professional's recommendation when specific support is required.

Can I use it while typing, writing, or doing other hand tasks?

WrisTimer is designed for daytime and occupational use. Check that the loop and wristband let you perform the intended task comfortably without interfering with your grip or controls. It does not replace an appropriately arranged workstation, changes to aggravating activities, or a clinician's restrictions.

Is WrisTimer the same as SmartGlove or WrisTimer PM?

No. SmartGlove combines a flexible support splint with an ErgoBeads cushion. Daytime WrisTimer uses an adjustable wristband-and-finger-loop design. The WrisTimer PM is the separate night model with an aluminum stay. Match the actual design required, not just the IMAK brand name.

Can WrisTimer help with carpal tunnel symptoms?

Brownmed positions the product for wrist support associated with carpal tunnel symptoms and repetitive activity. A support may be part of a clinician-directed plan, but this product does not guarantee symptom relief or replace assessment. Seek advice for persistent numbness, increasing weakness, or declining hand function instead of simply tightening the support.

Is it reusable and made without natural rubber latex?

The device records identify WrisTimer as reusable and not made with natural rubber latex. Follow the care directions supplied with your support for cleaning and drying. Do not apply the washing instructions for a different IMAK glove, and check other materials when you have known sensitivities.
