Ionto4 size and reorder guide

One milliliter equals one cubic centimeter, so mL and cc identify the same fill volume. These volumes describe the solution held by the reservoir; they are not the electrical dose in mA-min or the amount of medication absorbed.

Match the code on your previous package or purchase order. If changing sizes, have the treating clinician confirm the reservoir volume and electrode fit instead of selecting by “small,” "medium," or “large” alone.

What is included?

The box supplies 12 paired electrode setups, not 12 loose electrodes. Medication, a reusable iontophoresis controller, and its lead set are purchased separately. The electrodes are disposable and must not be reused.

Ionto4 is a wired iontophoresis electrode kit that requires a compatible external iontophoresis device. It is not a self-powered patch or a replacement for ordinary TENS pads.

Before ordering for an existing controller, confirm the exact device model, lead-set connection, and electrode requirements. If your clinic uses an ActivaDose II controller, review our ActivaDose II guide and contact our team with the controller and lead-set identifiers if compatibility is uncertain. Do not assume that every iontophoresis electrode connects to every lead set.

Ionto4 or Trivarion: compare fill volumes

The medium and large options have different fill volumes between these families. Matching a size name does not establish an equivalent replacement. Trivarion is specifically listed by its supplier for use with ActivaDose II; review the exact electrode and lead requirements before switching products.

Price per kit and delivered cost

For the electrode-kit cost per application, divide the selected box price by 12. For example, a box priced at $74.95 works out to approximately $6.25 per single-use kit, before tax. Use the current selected price when comparing options.

This calculation covers the disposable kit only. Medication, clinical services, and reusable equipment are separate costs. Purchasing questions

Are Ionto4 and Ionto480 the same product?

They are different product listings and ordering references. This page supplies Ionto4 in 12-kit boxes under NC89375–NC89378. Axelgaard makes Ionto480 under DDS275, DDM325, DDL350, and DDB375, with 10 kits per case. Similar shapes and fill volumes do not make the codes or pack quantities interchangeable.

Can I order only the Butterfly configuration?

Yes. Select Butterfly, NC89378, for a box of 12 kits with the 2.0 mL active electrode. The box contains the selected configuration rather than an assortment of all four options.

Does a larger reservoir provide a stronger treatment?

Not by itself. Reservoir volume, medication concentration, and electrical dose are different parameters. The clinician must select the electrode and treatment settings according to the prescription and current product instructions.
