Roscoe Medical TENS 3000 DT3002 Analog TENS Unit
Complete dual-channel kit with physical controls and a replaceable 9V battery
Buy the Roscoe Medical TENS 3000, model DT3002, for a clinician-directed TENS program that calls for direct control of pulse rate, pulse width and intensity. Its knobs and switches let you adjust settings without navigating a digital screen. This is a dedicated TENS unit, not a combination TENS/NMES muscle stimulator.
One complete kit per order quantity. Free standard U.S. shipping with no minimum purchase. The kit includes the device, two leads, four electrodes, a 9V battery, a hard carrying case, and instructions. Review the current price and availability beside the buying controls.
Complete TENS 3000 kit: what is included?
| Included item | Quantity |
|---|---|
| TENS 3000 DT3002 analog stimulator | 1 |
| Electrode lead wires | 2, one for each channel |
| Reusable self-adhering electrodes | 4 |
| Replaceable 9V battery | 1 |
| Hard carrying case | 1 |
| Instruction manual | 1 |
The starter leads and pads support both channels. You do not need an additional four-pad package simply to connect the complete kit, although replacement supplies can be ordered separately. Reusable electrodes must remain assigned to one person.
Physical controls for the prescribed settings
| Control or feature | What it provides |
|---|---|
| Separate channel intensity knobs | Individual output adjustment for each electrode pair |
| Pulse-rate dial | Adjustable rate of 2-150 Hz in applicable modes |
| Pulse-width dial | Manual adjustment of pulse duration |
| Mode selector | Normal (N), Burst (B), and Modulation (M) |
| Timer selector | Timed or continuous operation |
| Clear amplitude-control cap | Helps protect the intensity knobs against accidental bumps |
| Sliding front cover | Helps shield the parameter controls after settings are selected |
The interface is analog, while a microprocessor regulates the output. Normal provides the selected steady pulse pattern, Burst groups pulses, and Modulation varies output cyclically. These are stimulation modes, not three diagnosis-specific treatment prescriptions. Our TENS modes guide explains the differences.
The protective cap is not a substitute for checking the controls, and it should not be treated as a childproof lock. Match your clinician's required settings to the instructions and markings on the supplied device; continuous operation does not authorize unlimited treatment.
Use two electrodes or four
Each active channel requires one complete electrode pair.
| Approved setup | Leads connected | Electrodes used |
|---|---|---|
| One channel | 1 | 2 |
| Both channels | 2 | 4 |
Intensity is independent; the mode, pulse rate, pulse width, and timer controls are shared. Two channels do not mean two separately programmable therapies. Use the number of channels and the placement specified by your clinician rather than adding pads simply because another output is available.
Our TENS 3000 manual, setup, and safety guide cover operation, connections, electrode care, and troubleshooting.
Replaceable 9V power, without a charging routine
TENS 3000 operates from one rectangular 9V battery and includes a starter battery. It does not have a built-in rechargeable battery or USB charging system. Follow the supplied instructions when selecting replacements; runtime depends on settings, use, and battery condition rather than a guaranteed number of treatment hours.
The handheld format and included case support storage and transport. Battery power does not make the device waterproof or suitable for use while driving.
Compare control style and power source
| Device | Interface and modes | Power | Purchasing distinction |
|---|---|---|---|
| TENS 3000 DT3002 | Physical dials; three TENS modes | Replaceable 9V battery | Direct analog adjustment for a prescribed TENS program |
| TENS 7000 | Digital display with physical controls; five TENS modes | Replaceable 9V battery | A display-based alternative to review when more TENS modes are required |
| iStim A6 | Physical analog controls; three TENS modes | Built-in rechargeable battery | An analog option for buyers who prefer recharging to replacing batteries |
A different interface or mode count does not establish equivalent treatment. Have your clinician approve any substitution and compare the exact settings and current labeling before changing devices.
Which replacement pads and lead wires fit DT3002?
The DT3002 instruction manual identifies WW3005 lead wires and EP2020WC2-INTM electrodes. Match the part number as well as the connector when reordering.
| Replacement supply | Our purchasing option | What to match |
|---|---|---|
| WW3005 lead wires | 45-inch replacement leads, two per package | 2.35 mm device plug and 2 mm electrode pins; one lead per channel |
| EP2020WC2-INTM electrodes | InTENSity 2-inch-square electrodes, 40-pad pack | Standard 2 mm pin connection; ten four-pad pouches |
The supplied self-adhering electrode format already includes its conductive gel; extra gel is not a routine requirement. Use the clinician-approved pad size and replace worn, damaged, or poorly adhering pads. Similar-looking plugs do not make every TENS lead compatible.
Do I need a prescription for TENS 3000?
Yes. DT3002 is a prescription device, sold by or on the order of a physician or licensed practitioner.
Before ordering, contact our team or call (800) 322-2781 and identify TENS 3000 DT3002. Include your order number if you have already purchased. We will confirm how you or your prescriber's office should submit the prescription. Do not attach medical documents or paste medical history into the general contact form.
After submission, confirm receipt, any additional requirements, and your order's shipping status with us. Submission alone does not confirm that review is complete or the order has shipped. See our prescription-submission policy for the full process.
Before treatment
Use only under the continuing supervision of your prescribing professional and read the supplied instructions. Do not use with a demand-type cardiac pacemaker or an implanted defibrillator. Do not apply stimulation through the head, across the chest, or over the neck or mouth. Do not use while driving or in a bath or shower. Stop and contact your clinician if skin irritation or painful stimulation occurs. These reminders do not replace the full safety instructions.
Ready to order? Confirm DT3002, arrange the prescription, and select the number of complete kits required. Our TENS 3000 operating guide remains available for setup and ongoing support.

FAQs
Is it an analog or digital TENS unit?
It has an analog control interface with physical knobs and switches. A microprocessor regulates the output, but it does not have a digital display.
How many channels does it have?
Two isolated channels. Each active channel uses a pair of electrodes and has its own intensity control.
How many pads can be used?
Two pads with one channel or four pads with both channels.
Which modes are included?
Normal, Burst, and Modulation.
What is the pulse-rate range?
The published range is 2–150 Hz.
Does it have a timer?
Yes.
How strong is the unit?
Adjustable output up to 80 mA at a 500-ohm load per channel. Perceived intensity also depends on pulse width, pulse rate, pad size, placement, skin resistance, and electrode condition.
Is it rechargeable?
The device uses a replaceable 9-volt battery. It does not contain a built-in rechargeable battery or USB charging system.
For rechargeable analog TENS, compare the iStim A6.
Is the TENS 3000 also an EMS or NMES unit?
No. The TENS 3000 is a dedicated TENS device. It does not contain motor-level NMES work-rest timing or muscle-stimulation programs.
Does the package include electrodes?
Yes. Four reusable self-adhering electrodes are included. Verify their current dimensions before publishing a size claim.
What replacement electrodes can be used?
Use legally marketed reusable stimulation pads whose size and connector match the device instructions and lead wires. Compare Balego replacement electrodes.
Why does stimulation feel sharp?
Possible causes include the following:
- A lifted pad edge
- Dry or contaminated hydrogel
- Incomplete skin contact
- A damaged lead wire
- Excessive intensity
- An unsuitable pad size
- A prohibited or uncomfortable placement
Turn the device off before inspecting the pads or connections.
Does TENS cure the cause of pain?
No, TENS is for symptomatic pain treatment and states that it has no curative value.
