BMLS uses several lead-wire configurations that can look similar but are not universally interchangeable. The correct selection depends on the device model—and, in the case of the Impulse® TENS D5, even the manufacturing generation.

These genuine BMLS lead wires use touch-proof device connections and pin-style electrode connections. BMLS describes its current lead-wire line as latex-free and provides proprietary configurations for specific BioStim®, QuadStar®, Impulse®, and Rebound® devices as well as an industry-standard lead set.

Choose the Correct BMLS Lead Wire

L00013 Black BMLS Lead-Wire Pair

L00013 is the standard proprietary black lead-wire pair used by a broad range of BMLS electrotherapy devices.

Each set contains two 48-inch lead wires. BMLS currently lists L00013 for the BioStim M7, BioStim NMS2, BioStim Plus, BioStim SD, EMS 2000, Micro Plus, BioMed 2000 XL, BioMed 2000 XT, Impulse 2000, Impulse 3000, Impulse 3000T, Impulse EMS D7, and Impulse TENS D5 units manufactured before the current-generation change.

L00013TC Two-Color Lead-Wire Pair

L00013TC is the two-color version specifically identified by BMLS as the preferred configuration for its BioStim INF and INF Plus interferential stimulators. It uses a touch-proof connection at the device, pin-style electrode connections, and a 48-inch cable length.

The two-color arrangement helps distinguish the leads in multi-output electrotherapy setups. BMLS's older individual product page lists compatibility with several additional post-May-1999 BMLS devices, but its newer fitment chart specifically positions L00013TC with the BioStim INF / INF Plus family.

L00013MC Four-Color QuadStar Lead-Wire Set

Choose L00013MC for the QuadStar II.

Unlike the two-wire variants on this page, L00013MC is a four-lead, four-color set. BMLS's current fitment chart calls it a proprietary “4 lead wire 4 color set,” while the manufacturer catalog confirms four wires per pack.

The individual BMLS product page also references the earlier QuadStar Elite.

L00013 vs. L00023 for the Impulse TENS D5

This is the compatibility distinction most competing product pages fail to explain.

BMLS now expressly separates the two part numbers this way in its current fitment chart.

Do not order solely because both products appear to be ordinary electrode lead-wire pairs. If you have an Impulse TENS D5 and are uncertain which generation you own, confirm the existing connector or device manufacturing information before ordering.

L00023 Current Impulse TENS D5 Lead-Wire Pair

L00023 is the proprietary replacement pair BMLS currently specifies for the newer Impulse TENS D5 configuration. Distributor master data describes the set as two 48-inch / 1.2 m touch-proof wires per set.

If replacing leads on an older D5, compare your existing configuration first because BMLS specifies L00013 for pre-2025 D5 devices.

L00024 Rebound 4-Pin Lead Wire

The L00024 Rebound lead provides four pin-style electrode connections from a single Rebound-compatible lead. BMLS's 2024 catalog identifies L00024 as the Rebound 4-pin option, while current distributor data describes it as one 48-inch, latex-free touch-proof lead designed for Rebound devices.

Compatibility note: BMLS's newer online fitment chart currently references L00204 rather than L00024 for the Rebound Health and Rebound Sport 2-pin-to-4-pin lead. Balego recommends confirming the exact part/version when replacing an existing Rebound cable.

L00025 Industry-Standard Lead-Wire Pair

L00025 is different from the proprietary BMLS lead sets. BMLS categorizes it as its industry-standard lead-wire pair and currently lists compatibility with the BioMed Revived I, BioMed Revived II, and Impulse 4000T.

The set contains two 48-inch / 1.2 m wires.

A compatible electrode connector does not automatically mean the lead wire will fit the stimulator. The device-side connection must also match.
