Quantity 1 purchases one complete system, not a replacement controller alone. The included leads and pads support both channels. Richmar lists a one-year warranty, subject to its terms; warranty coverage is separate from return eligibility.

How the EMS 7500 channel modes differ

These are EMS operating patterns, not separate TENS, IFC, or Russian therapies. Ramp and work/rest adjustments apply to the relevant cycling modes; Constant does not use those controls in the same way. Your clinician selects the mode and settings.

Our listing is the Richmar EMS 7500, DE7502. You may encounter Roscoe Medical or Current Solutions branding in other listings and older documentation. Match DE7502 and the instructions supplied with the unit; a similar brand description does not establish an identical package revision.
Can I use two or four electrodes, and are the channels independent?
Use one complete pair per active channel: two pads on one channel or four pads when both are used. Each channel has its own intensity knob, while mode and parameter selection are shared. Two outputs do not provide two independently selected therapies.
Does the compliance meter show whether treatment worked?
No. It records device operation, not correct electrode placement, muscle-contraction quality, or clinical improvement. Review the operating history with the treating professional rather than using it as proof that every session was delivered correctly.
Is the EMS 7500 rechargeable?
It uses a replaceable 9V battery, not a built-in USB-rechargeable battery. The instructions discuss optional rechargeable batteries charged outside the device. Follow the permitted battery type for your unit; neither a charger nor an AC adapter appears in the standard kit list.
Which replacement lead wires and pads should I order?
The current manufacturer manual identifies WW3005 lead wires. Our 45-inch WW3005 two-lead pack has a 2.35 mm device plug and 2 mm electrode pins. Match the full part reference rather than choosing only by cable appearance.
The current instructions specify 2-inch-square replacement electrodes. Our InTENSity 2-inch-square electrode pack supplies 40 pads in ten four-pad pouches. That is ten complete four-pad replacement sets, not ten guaranteed treatment sessions. Check the connector, supplied revision, and prescribed pad size before ordering; do not share used pads.
Where can I find the correct EMS 7500 instructions?
Start with the instructions supplied with your unit or the manufacturer’s DE7502 instruction manual (PDF). Do not substitute an EMS 5.0 or another NMES model’s programming instructions. Use under medical supervision and read the complete warnings. Do not use with an implanted pacemaker or defibrillator, or apply stimulation through the head, over the neck, or across the chest. Is the EMS 7500 a prescription device?
Yes. The EMS 7500 is a Class II prescription device and must be sold by or on the order of an appropriately licensed practitioner.
Does the EMS 7500 include TENS programs?
No. It is a dedicated EMS/NMES muscle stimulator. Choose a combination device such as the Twin Stim IV when both TENS and NMES are required.
How many electrodes can be used?
The two-channel design normally supports two electrodes on one channel or four electrodes when both channels are used.
Are the channels independent?
Yes. Each channel has its own intensity control. The selected mode determines whether their stimulation timing is simultaneous, alternating, or continuous.
What does the compliance meter record?
The meter can retain up to 60 treatment-use records and as many as 999 accumulated operating hours. It records device use but does not determine whether the pads were positioned correctly or whether an effective contraction occurred.
Is the EMS 7500 rechargeable?
It does not have a built-in rechargeable battery. It operates from one replaceable 9V battery.
What is the difference between the EMS 7500 and EMS 5.0?
The EMS 5.0 uses analog knobs and a smaller group of fixed pulse-rate and ramp options. The EMS 7500 provides digital parameter adjustment, a wider range of programmable settings, and treatment-use tracking.
Can the EMS 7500 be used at home?
It may be used in a prescribed home program after the user has been trained in electrode placement, settings, skin inspection, contraindications, and safe operation.
Does a higher intensity always produce a better treatment?
No. Intensity must be high enough to create the prescribed response, but excessive output can be uncomfortable and may produce uncontrolled movement. Pad placement, electrode condition, pulse width, rate, and treatment timing also influence contraction quality.
