Is the vial in the kit dexamethasone?
No. The supplied vial contains saline. A listing that describes a patch-and-vial kit does not mean that prescription medication comes with the patch.
If your clinician recommends dexamethasone iontophoresis, ask who will arrange that medication: the practice or a pharmacy following the prescriber’s directions. Do this before assuming that delivery of the patches makes everything ready for treatment.
