One heel lift. Three selectable heights. SoleAid sizing and a vegan suede cover.
SoleAid Adjust-A-Heel combines three layers of neoprene sponge rubber with a soft vegan-suede top. Its tapered, heel-only shape provides cushioning and adjustable elevation without replacing the entire shoe insole. Made in the USA, it is an option when your footwear plan calls for this specific layered lift.
Sold individually, not as a pair. One standard package contains one lift with its layers assembled. Three layers do not mean three separate lifts. We provide free standard U.S. shipping with no minimum purchase. Review the selected size's current price and availability above. Applicable tax is additional.
Choose the SoleAid size, then the lift height.
Small, medium, and large identify the fit range, not different maximum heights. Use the SoleAid chart below rather than a size chart for our other heel lifts or a similarly named product.
| SoleAid size | U.S. women's shoe size | U.S. men's shoe size |
|---|---|---|
| Small | 5-10 | 3-7 |
| Medium | 10.5-13 | 8-11.5 |
| Large | 14+ | 12+ |
The published chart does not assign women's 13.5 or men's 7.5. Contact our team for product-sizing help when your size falls between the listed ranges. Also assess the lift in the actual shoe: a shoe-size label does not establish the available heel width or depth.
Understand the three height settings.
| Configuration | Nominal height | Approximate metric equivalent |
|---|---|---|
| All three layers retained | 3/8 inch | 9.5 mm |
| Two layers retained | 1/4 inch | 6.4 mm |
| One layer retained | 1/8 inch | 3.2 mm |
Reduce the height by removing the permitted peel-away layers according to the supplied instructions. The listed settings are discrete steps, not a continuously adjustable range. The metric figures are rounded conversions of the nominal inch dimensions, not measured corrections under body weight.
Have your clinician or fitter specify the required side and elevation. For a height written in millimeters, use our heel-lift height and conversion guide to read the specification without silently substituting a nearby setting. For example, 5 mm is not one of Adjust-A-Heel's three listed heights.
Check the fit in the shoe you will wear.
A heel lift takes up space beneath the rear of the foot. Check that the heel remains securely held and that the shoe still closes comfortably, without new rubbing, pressure, or slipping. The non-slip base is a retention feature, not a guarantee of a secure fit in every shoe.
Follow the supplied placement instructions and any directions for your existing insole or orthotic. Do not assume another product's trimming, gluing, or layer-replacement method applies. A new shoe or a changed layer configuration warrants another fit check.
Compare our adjustable heel-lift options.
| Product | Construction | Published adjustment |
|---|---|---|
| SoleAid Adjust-A-Heel | Neoprene sponge rubber with a vegan-suede top | 1/8, 1/4, or 3/8 inch |
| Our Balego adjustable heel lift | Extra-firm foam with suede leather top | 1/8, 1/4, or 3/8 inch |
| Clearly adjustable heel lift | Firm, transparent layered vinyl | 1-12 mm in 1 mm steps |
The SoleAid and Balego products share nominal height choices, but their materials, branding, and size charts are not interchangeable. Clearly Adjustable offers a different adjustment interval. Match the product requested by your clinician or established supply list rather than ordering from the word "adjustable" alone. Adjust-A-Heel purchasing FAQs
Is SoleAid Adjust-A-Heel the same as Adjust-A-Lift?
No. SoleAid Adjust-A-Heel is a distinct product from the similarly named Warwick Adjust-A-Lift. Match the brand on the package before using a sizing chart, instructions, or reorder code. A similar name and layered appearance do not establish that two products are identical.
Should I order one lift or two?
One unit buys one lift. Order two only when you need two separate lifts, such as a professionally recommended two-shoe setup or a spare. The package quantity does not decide which foot needs elevation, whether both feet need it, or the appropriate height.
Can I put the removed layers back or stack complete lifts?
Do not assume either arrangement is approved. Confirm the current SoleAid instructions before reattaching layers or adding another lift. Removing a layer is not permission to build an unsupported stack or copy the adjustment method of a different product.
Will Adjust-A-Heel work in sandals?
Sandal fit requires a separate assessment of retention, footbed shape, and available space. A non-slip underside alone does not establish compatibility. Our heel lifts for sandals guide discusses the wider footwear question; it does not make every product suitable for an open shoe.
Does a vegan-suede cover mean the whole product is latex-free?
No such conclusion should be drawn from the cover description. Vegan suede identifies the top-cover material; it is not an allergy certification for the finished lift. Ask our team for product-specific material documentation before ordering when a material sensitivity affects selection.
How do I match a previous purchase?
Record SoleAid, Adjust-A-Heel, the size, the package reference, and the number of individual lifts required. Keep the working height separate from the size label. A medium lift at one layer and a medium lift at three layers are the same footprint selection with different configurations.
Before use
A heel lift is equipment, not a diagnosis or a guaranteed treatment for pain. Obtain professional guidance for a new leg-length concern or injury-related use. Follow the supplied instructions and reassess new pain, rubbing or pressure rather than trying to wear through it.
Match SoleAid Adjust-A-Heel, choose the correct fit range, and confirm the number of individual lifts before checkout.
