Medium-flex arch support with full-length cushioning.
SoleAid II orthotic insoles combine a semi-rigid support shell with a cushioned surface and a shaped heel cradle. They are the medium-flex option in the original SoleAid range: a different construction from the stiffer SoleAid III and a different length from SoleAid II S.
Choose this page when you are matching standard, full-length SoleAid II. Review the selected U.S. size range, package quantity, current price, and availability before checkout. We provide free standard U.S. shipping with no minimum purchase. Applicable tax is additional.
What does medium-flex support mean?
The shell supplies structure beneath the cushioning. Medium-flex is the manufacturer's description of that shell, not a shoe size, a measured arch height, or an adjustment you select on the product. A soft-feeling top surface does not make the complete insert an all-foam cushion.
| Component | SoleAid II construction |
|---|---|
| Contact surface | ETC fabric cover |
| Cushioning | Neoprene foam above the shell |
| Support | Medium-flex polypropylene shell and heel cradle |
| Base | EVA foam |
| Coverage | Full-length insole |
Choose the construction specified for your footwear plan. The stiffest insert is not automatically the most appropriate one, and a size change should not be used to compensate for the wrong arch position.
Select the SoleAid II U.S. shoe-size range.
Use the manufacturer's ranges below instead of a letter-size chart from a different SoleAid family. The purchasing options show which sizes are currently available from us.
| U.S. women's shoe size | U.S. men's shoe size |
|---|---|
| 6-6.5 | Not listed |
| 7-7.5 | Not listed |
| 8-8.5 | 6-6.5 |
| 9-9.5 | 7-7.5 |
| 10-10.5 | 8-8.5 |
| 11-11.5 | 9-9.5 |
| 12-12.5 | 10-10.5 |
| Not listed | 11-11.5 |
| Not listed | 12-12.5 |
| Not listed | 13-13.5 |
| Not listed | 14-15 |
| Not listed | 16+ |
The published selector does not assign men's 15.5. "Not listed" means the manufacturer has not supplied a corresponding range; it is not an instruction to invent a conversion. Contact our team with your shoe size and previous product label when the match is uncertain.
Check the fit in the actual footwear with your usual socks. The insert should lie without curling, the heel should remain securely held, and the shoe should leave room for the toes. Where footwear is intended for replacement insoles, follow its instructions rather than automatically stacking two full-length footbeds.
SoleAid II versus III, II S, and Thera 2K
| Product | Main difference | Reorder check |
|---|---|---|
| SoleAid II on this page | Full-length coverage with a medium-flex shell | Match standard II and the stated U.S. size range. |
| SoleAid III orthotic insoles | Full-length construction with a stiff-flex shell | III is a separate support choice, not simply a newer size of II. |
| SoleAid II S | A separately manufactured three-quarter-length model | The S designation matters; do not assume a cut-down II is the same product. |
| SoleAid Thera 2K diabetic insoles | Two-layer EVA accommodative cushioning | This is a different foam-based model and sizing system. |
These are construction comparisons, not a ranking of treatment results. For broader browsing, see our orthotic insoles, shoe inserts, heel lifts, and wedges. The products are alternatives for different fitting requirements, not a recommendation to wear them together.
SoleAid II purchasing FAQs
Is this standard SoleAid II or SoleAid Work II?
This page is for standard SoleAid II. The manufacturer specifies a different top-cover construction for Work II, even though both names include II. Keep the full model name on your reorder list rather than treating "work," "sport" or an S suffix as optional wording.
Is SoleAid II a custom-made orthotic?
No. It is a prefabricated insert sold in standard sizes. Selecting a size online is not equivalent to a foot assessment and a custom-manufactured device. A professional can help determine whether an over-the-counter insert or a different approach fits your needs.
Will it fit all trainers and casual shoes and boots?
No full-length insert fits every shoe. Check available depth, heel containment, and the position of the support in each intended pair. Footwear that feels roomy without an insert may still be unsuitable after one is added. Do not rely on the footwear category alone.
Can I trim or heat-mold SoleAid II?
Check the instructions supplied specifically with SoleAid II before modifying it. Do not copy heat-molding directions from Thera insoles or cut the full-length model into an assumed II-S equivalent. Confirm the correct size and fit first.
Does semi-rigid support guarantee relief from plantar fasciitis or flat-foot discomfort?
No. Those symptoms and foot shapes do not, by themselves, establish the correct insert. The product's support category is useful for matching a recommendation, not for diagnosing pain or promising permanent correction. Seek professional advice for persistent symptoms or a changing foot problem.
How should I compare a replacement offer or a marketplace price?
Match SoleAid II, full-length coverage, the exact size, and the number of pairs supplied. A listing for II S, Work II, or a multipack is not the same offer. Include the other seller's shipping and any required membership or subscription terms before comparing its total with ours. Send our team the label when the product identity is unclear.
Before regular use
Follow the supplied fitting instructions. Reassess new rubbing, persistent pressure, or discomfort rather than wearing it through. People with diabetes, poor circulation, or reduced sensation should obtain professional fitting advice; absence of pain does not establish a safe fit.
Confirm the standard SoleAid II model, its full-length format, and the selected size before ordering.
