Targeted arch cushioning without replacing the entire footbed.
SoleAid Scaphoid Arch Support Pads add a contoured cushion beneath the medial, or inner, arch. The urethane foam construction has a self-adhesive backing for positioning inside suitable footwear. Choose this localized support when your fitting plan calls for an arch pad rather than a full-length replacement insole.
We provide free standard U.S. shipping with no minimum purchase. Review the selected size, package quantity, current price, and availability beside the purchasing controls. Applicable tax is additional.
Choose your SoleAid scaphoid pad size.
Use SoleAid's published shoe-size ranges as the starting point. Small, medium, and large describe size selections, not three prescribed levels of arch correction.
| Pad size | U.S. women's shoe size | U.S. men's shoe size |
|---|---|---|
| Small | 5-10 | 3-7 |
| Medium | 10.5-13 | 8-11.5 |
| Large | 14+ | 12+ |
The manufacturer's chart does not assign women's 13.5 or men's 7.5. For these sizes, an uncertain fit or a replacement with an unclear label, contact our team before ordering. Do not assume that a larger pad provides a higher or firmer support.
Keep the footwear in the decision. A listed shoe size does not establish that the pad will sit correctly within every shoe's existing contour or available space.
Localized support, with or without an existing orthotic
SoleAid identifies dress and casual footwear as applications and describes use with or without an orthotic insole. That is not blanket approval to stack the pad onto every insert. Have your clinician or fitter confirm the combined shape and remaining shoe space when you are modifying an established orthotic setup.
The adhesive helps maintain the selected position; it does not determine the correct position. Confirm the intended location and fit before final attachment, following the supplied instructions. A pad that creates a concentrated lump, rubbing, or a new pressure point needs reassessment rather than a longer break-in period.
Arch pad, full-length insole, or heel lift?
| Product | Main purchasing distinction | What it does not replace automatically |
|---|---|---|
| SoleAid Scaphoid Arch Support Pads | Localized cushioning and support beneath the inner arch | A complete replacement footbed or a prescribed custom orthosis |
| SoleAid Thera 3 diabetic insoles | Full-length, three-layer accommodative inserts | A separately positioned arch pad or a complete diabetic foot-care plan |
| Our adjustable heel lifts | Elevation beneath the heel | Localized arch cushioning or a full-length insert |
These are different product functions, not a recommendation to use all three together. Browse our orthotic insoles, shoe inserts, heel lifts, and wedges to compare the available formats.
SoleAid scaphoid pad purchasing FAQs
What is a scaphoid arch pad?
It is a localized shoe insert for the inner arch area. It is not a full-length insole, and its name does not refer to a wrist brace. Match the product to the support location specified for you.
Is it the same as a metatarsal pad?
No. A metatarsal pad is a different forefoot-support component. Do not move an arch pad forward or substitute one shape for the other simply because both have adhesive backing.
Can I use these in sandals?
The manufacturer's product description does not establish universal sandal compatibility. An exposed or deeply contoured footbed, limited room, or insecure footwear calls for a separate fit assessment. Do not assume adhesive alone makes the complete setup suitable.
Can I move the same pads between shoes?
Do not assume repeated removal and reattachment will preserve the original adhesion or fit. Check the supplied instructions before transferring a pad. A different shoe can require a different position or product even when its labeled size is unchanged.
Will these correct flat feet or treat plantar fasciitis?
A retail arch pad should not be purchased as a guaranteed correction or cure. Persistent arch or heel symptoms need appropriate assessment; the product name alone cannot identify the cause or select the right support.
What information is useful for a repeat order?
Record SoleAid, Scaphoid Arch Support Pads, the selected size, the package's item reference, and the number of pads or pairs supplied. Compare the same selling quantity when reviewing prices. A family photograph does not establish what is included with one order.
Check the complete fit before ongoing wear.
Follow the supplied instructions and any professional fitting advice. Stop and reassess new rubbing, pressure marks, or discomfort. With diabetes, reduced sensation, circulation problems, or an existing wound, obtain clinical advice before adding or changing an in-shoe support; lack of pain does not establish a safe fit.
Choose the size, confirm the selected package, and assess the pad in the actual footwear.
