Full-length, three-layer cushioning. Choose the size, then check the fit inside your shoe.
SoleAid Thera 3 diabetic insoles combine a soft contact surface, a cushioning middle layer, and a firmer base. This accommodative design is intended to cushion and conform beneath the foot, rather than provide the same construction as a rigid corrective orthotic. The full-length shape includes arch support and a tapered forefoot.
Choose Thera 3 when it matches the insert recommended for your footwear and foot-care plan. Review the selected size, supplied quantity, current price, and availability beside the buying controls. We provide free standard U.S. shipping with no minimum purchase. Applicable tax is additional.
SoleAid Thera 3 size chart
Use the manufacturer's U.S. shoe-size ranges below. A letter size from another insole brand is not a substitute for this chart. The purchasing options identify the sizes currently available from us.
| There are 3 sizes. | U.S. women's shoe size | U.S. men's shoe size |
|---|---|---|
| X-Small (XS) | 5-6 | Not listed |
| Small (S) | 7-8 | 5-6 |
| Medium (M) | 9-10 | 7-8 |
| Large (L) | 11-12 | 9-10 |
| X-Large (XL) | 13-14 | 11-12 |
| XX-Large (XXL) | Not listed | 13-14 |
| XXX-Large (XXXL) | Not listed | 15+ |
Not listed means the manufacturer does not provide that conversion; it does not establish an equivalent size. Shoe size is a starting point, not a guarantee of internal shoe fit. Check the length, width, and available depth in the actual footwear. When your size falls between ranges, contact our team for product information rather than assuming that trimming a much larger insert will preserve the correct arch position.
What the three layers do
| Layer | Standard Thera 3 material | Construction role |
|---|---|---|
| Top | MP Foam 35 EVA | Soft contact layer |
| Middle | MP Blue urethane foam | Additional cushioning core |
| Base | MP Foam 55 EVA | Firmer supporting layer |
These materials identify the standard Thera 3 construction. Thera PZ Plus, Thera 3 Firm, and Thera 3 Cork are separately specified products; a shared Thera name does not make their materials or feel identical. The three layers are part of one insole, not a three-pair package.
Check shoe compatibility before trimming.
SoleAid specifies closed footwear with removable insoles. Assess the fit with the original removable insert replaced, rather than automatically stacking the new insole on top. There must still be enough room for the foot and toes, with the heel securely contained and no curled or buckled insert edges.
The manufacturer describes Thera 3 as trim-to-fit and moldable through wear or controlled heat. Trim only as permitted by the supplied instructions. For heat molding, obtain the finished-product procedure from a qualified fitter; do not borrow oven temperatures from foam-sheet fabrication instructions or another insole.
With diabetes, reduced sensation, or a history of foot wounds, have the complete shoe-and-insole fit assessed professionally. Comfort alone cannot confirm that pressure and rubbing are acceptable when sensation is reduced.
Thera 3, Thera 2K, or a heel lift?
| Product | Main distinction | What to match |
|---|---|---|
| SoleAid Thera 3 | Full-length accommodative insole with three layers, including a cushioning core | Exact Thera 3 model, shoe-size range, and footwear fit |
| SoleAid Thera 2K | A separate two-layer accommodative insole | Its own construction and supplied instructions; not simply another name for Thera 3 |
| Our adjustable heel lift | Heel-area elevation rather than a full-length cushioning insert | The prescribed lift height, side, and shoe space are not substitutes for this insole. |
Do not combine a heel lift, wedge, and full-length insole solely because they fit in the same shoe. Have the complete arrangement assessed. Our orthotic insoles, shoe inserts, heel lifts, and wedge collection separate these different equipment formats.
SoleAid Thera 3 purchasing FAQs
Are these custom-made orthotics?
No. Thera 3 is supplied as a prefabricated insole in standard size ranges. Trimming or permitted molding can alter its fit, but that does not make an online size selection the same service as an individually assessed custom orthosis.
Does every pair need heat molding before use?
SoleAid describes the product as ready-to-wear and wear-moldable as well as heat-moldable. A home heating step should not be assumed. Follow the instructions supplied with the product and any fitting directions from your clinician.
Can I use Thera 3 in shoes with glued-in footbeds or in open sandals?
Do not assume compatibility. The manufacturer specifies footwear with removable insoles. Limited depth, insecure footwear, or a fixed footbed can prevent the intended fit. Select appropriate footwear with your fitter rather than forcing the insert into an unsuitable shoe.
Does a diabetic insole treat neuropathy or replace diabetic foot care?
No such treatment or replacement should be assumed. An insole is one part of a footwear plan, not a diagnosis or a cure for nerve damage. Continue the foot checks and clinical care recommended for you; do not use a retail insert as the sole response to an active wound.
Does the A5512 reference guarantee Medicare reimbursement?
No. SoleAid associates Thera 3 with A5512, but a product code alone does not establish coverage for a retail purchase. Medicare eligibility, clinical documentation, ordering, fitting, and supplier requirements also apply. Confirm the reimbursement pathway before ordering; do not assume an online purchase will qualify.
How do I match a previous order?
Record SoleAid, the exact Thera 3 name, the size and its U.S. shoe-size range, and the number of pairs or packages supplied. Do not substitute Thera 3 Firm, Thera 2K, or another SoleAid model based on a similar name or photograph. Send us the previous label when the match is unclear.
Before first wear
Follow your clinician's introduction schedule and inspect your feet daily. Do not try to wear through rubbing, persistent redness, a blister, or new discomfort. Reduced sensation can hide an injury, so lack of pain is not reassurance. Contact your healthcare professional promptly about new wounds, warmth, redness, or swelling.
Match the Thera 3 size, confirm the selected package, and check the footwear fit before use.
